Unseen Small Helpers !!

Paranormal Tales | Popular Scary Stories | One Liners | Places

Do you believe in ghosts? Do you know what happens when you are not watching…have you ever experienced something strange and unexplainable ? In the fast-paced world we live in, we don’t have much time to read thick horror books or watch movies. So there are some one liners that might keep your skin crawling because of how strange and real the events are. Even if normal ghost and ghoul tales didn’t keep you up at night, these may. So here is a one liners that will scare the crap out of you . . .

Back in the 1940's in San Antonio, Texas, a school bus full of children was making its way down the road and toward the intersection when it stalled on the railroad tracks. A speeding train smashed into the bus, killing 10 of the children and the bus driver.

Since that dreadful accident many years ago, any car stopped near the railroad tracks will be pushed by unseen hands across the tracks to safety.
It is the spirits of the children, they say, who push the cars across the tracks to prevent another accident, and saving people from a tragic fate like their own.

As the story goes,
if you park your car directly over the tracks and shift into neutral, the ghost of the children will push it uphill, out of the way of any oncoming train. And if cover your bumper with baby powder or flour, you can reportedly see the children's fingerprints upon your car.

Numerous accounts have been reported that
cars do in fact inexplicably move on their own and mysterious prints are seen on vehicles. Others allege they have heard the voices and laughter of children while at the site.

Island of the Dolls - Mexico

Mythical And Paranormal Realm | Myths | Horror Stories | Scary Tales

Whether its an unsolved mystery, a popular misconception, or sometimes just a big hoax urban legends are an inevitable part of any culture. But, plenty of these classic myths are actually true — and the truth is often more ghastly and macabre than the fiction. Even more interesting is how some of these fables originated. Myths have to start somewhere, and oftentimes it’s a dark chapter in history or a strange effect of our own minds. Sometimes, the boogeyman is real. And, that face you saw in the bathroom mirror? You weren’t imagining it. Here are one of the most popular urban legends still being told:-

Located on Lake Teshuilo in Xochimilco nr Mexico City, the island La Isla de la Munecas (The Island of the Dolls) is certainly one of the strangest haunted locations in our list. In the 1950’s, a man named Julian Santan Barrera moved to the island (despite being married with a young family).

scary, horror, haunted, story, spooky, witch, demon, myths, tales, paranormal, creepy, haunt me down
Julian was unaware of the dark history of the area when he moved there to become a recluse. Legend says that three young girls were playing near the water in the 1920’s, when one of the girls fell in and drowned in the murky waters. Locals believed that ever since her death, the young girls’ spirit has been unable to leave the island. It soon grew quite a reputation as a haunted place, and locals wouldn’t go near it at night for fear of what they may see.

Julian claimed that as soon as he moved on the island a little girl began speaking to him. The girl told Julian how she had died, and that she was trapped on the island. He began to get the dolls for this little girl, often selling off fruit and vegetables that he had grown on the island, so that he could buy old dolls for her to play with.

Julian later told his nephew that it was becoming more difficult to appease the young girl’s thirst for these dolls, with him seemingly worried that she wanted him to join her in her watery grave. The same day he had this discussion, his nephew was returning to the island, when he found his uncle face down in the canal. His body was in the same spot where the little girl had apparently drowned seventy years before.

Today, tourists to the island often speak of the doll’s eyes following them. Others have also reported that the mutilated dolls whisper to them, especially at night. Julian’s ghost is also said to remain on the island, as well as the young girls’.

India has seen many rulers and invaders and each of them has gifted India with their own architectural wonder. Hence, India is blessed with the most beautiful and ancient Baolis which are known for the awe-gaping historic beauty.

Among many baoli's, there is a famous of all, " Ugrasen ki Baoli ". It is famous for it's horrified era, which still haunts the travelers. There are many sayings which states that, " A ghoul of couple can be seen, or sometimes a lady in white behind the walls. "

Ugrasen ki Baoli was originally built by Maharaja Ugrasen, during Mahabharat era. It is said that the baoli was filled with black water. It was a cursed water, which hypnotizes the person to commit suicide. It was initially developed to punish the ones who had broken any rule, or done something miserable.

It is believed that the boali is the resident of all the spirits who are living even after their death. It is also said that, the ones who committed suicide in the baoli, their dead bodies were never cremated because the bodies were not found ever. They were disappeared in the black water.

While going deeper the sounds totally vanish only what remains that is echo of our own footsteps. As this sounds becomes more louder in a complete vacuum silence, the atmosphere turns more uncanny feelings. A strong eerie presence felt by visitors in there.
There is a huge well beyond the baoli, which is even haunted, because it can be seen through a small opening in the very lower part of baoli, where stairs end. And that is dark, that you can't see anything through it, till the time you use torch.

But use your torch carefully, might happen a ghoul of spirit be there suddenly, and hypnotizes you to commit suicide, like they did. It's dangerous to travel such a place, who knows when he gets hypnotized, and commits suicide.

With a history of torture and execution going back over 900 years, the Tower of London is regarded by many as one of the most haunted places in the UK. It was originally built in 1078 by William the Conqueror, and has served a major role in the history of England ever since.

There have been many reports of the paranormal at the Tower of London over the years. The most famous of all the ghosts that live within its walls, is Anne Boleyn, the wife of King Henry VIII.
She was beheaded in 1536, and her headless body has been seen walking the Tower’s corridors and often near the spot of her demise.

Other full bodied apparitions have also been seen including Lady Jane Grey, who was spotted by a guardsman in 1957. In the White Tower the White Lady has been seen, often standing at window, where she once stood waving to her children on the other side of the building.

Perhaps the most spine chilling of all reports includes the mysterious appearance of two children. They have been witnessed throughout the rooms of the castle. They’re often seen in their nightgowns, holding hands and with a look of terror on their faces. It is believed these are two former Prince’s, who were sent tot he Tower after they were deemed illegitimate by Parliament.

They vanished one day and it was assumed that they were murdered by order of their uncle, the Duke of Gloucester. Apparently, two small skeletons were exhumed beneath a staircase in the White Tower.

St. Augustine lighthouse (built in 1974) is an active lighthouse and museum in St. Augustine, Florida. The lighthouse and surrounding buildings are reportedly haunted. The apparitions of two girls has been reported on several occasions by both visitors and staff. The girls are believed to be the daughters of Hezekiah Pittee, who was in charge of construction of the lighthouse in the 1870’s. His two daughters died during its construction, in a tragic accident on the site. Both of them have been seen on the tower catwalk.

The apparition of a woman has also been witnessed, standing on the stairway of the lighthouse or walking on the grounds outside the buildings. Her voice has been heard on several occasions, often crying out for help. There has also been various reports of disembodied conversations, shadows, and the sound of footsteps coming up the lighthouse steps.

The ghost of a man has also been seen in the lighthouse basement, believed to be that of Civil War hero and former lighthouse keeper William A. Harn.

Due to the overwhelming number of reports coming from the location, the TAPS crew investigated and found several pieces of evidence, including a video of what appears to be a woman looking over the railing on the lighthouse staircase. They also captured shadow figures, and an EVP of a woman crying out for help! Due to their success in capturing paranormal evidence, TAPS coined the location ‘the Mona Lisa of paranormal sites’.

In the Venice Lagoon between Venice and Lido, sits the small island of Poveglia. Inhabited since 421, when mainlanders fled to seek refuge from the invaders, Poveglia’s population began to dwindle centuries later, and by the 14th century the island was completely abandoned. As with many small islands in Europe during the Bubonic Plague outbreak in the 14th century, the island became a quarantine colony. Many Venetians were sent here to die, their dead infected bodies being burned on giant pyres. This was also the case in 1630, when the Black Death swept through Venice.

scary, horror, haunted, story, spooky, witch, demon, myths, tales, paranormal, creepy, haunt me down
The site was apparently used to as a mental asylum during the 1800’s, however many sources state that this simply is not the case. Stories persist though of ill treatment, and experimental procedures being carried out in building. During 1930 a doctor is believed to have committed suicide, jumping to his death from the bell tower.  From the mid-20th century up until 1975 when it was closed, Poveglia hospital was used as geriatric centre.

Today the whole island is abandoned, and it’s believed that many locals dare not step foot on the island for fear of being cursed. Fisherman also refuse to fish in the area for fear of dragging up human remains.

The ghosts of the patients and victims of disease are said to haunt the island and its buildings. Voices and screams are often heard, with EVP’s often captured. Dark fleeting shadows are often witnessed, and possessions have been reported. Ghost Adventures very own Zak Bagans was apparently possessed during the crew’s visit a few years ago, when he suddenly became over-run by rage. As soon as people step fot on the island they begin to feel an oppressive evil feeling, often departing in absolute terror.

The Walking Corpses - Toraja Village

Paranormal Tales | Popular Scary Stories | One Liners | Places

Do you believe in ghosts? Do you know what happens when you are not watching…have you ever experienced something strange and unexplainable? In the fast-paced world we live in, we don’t have much time to read thick horror books or watch movies. So there are some one liners that might keep your skin crawling because of how strange and real the events are. Even if normal ghost and ghoul tales didn’t keep you up at night, these may. So here is a one liners that will scare the crap out of you . . .

Life that does't end with death .

Indonesia province's bizarre annual ritual of digging up its dead to give them a wash, groom and dress them in new clothes.

The ritual is called Ma'nene, or The Ceremony of cleaning corpse, and this takes place in Toraja in South Sulawesi. Families dig up their relatives to freshen them up and even dead children and babies are exhumed. Bodies are then taken to the place where the died, and dragged back to the village.

According to the ancient Torajan belief system, the spirit of a dead person must return to his village of origin.

So if a person died on a journey, the family would go to the place of death and accompany the deceased back home by walking them back to the village. In the past, people were frightened to journey far, in case they died while they were away and were unable to return to their village.

scary, horror, haunted, story, spooky, witch, demon, myths, tales, paranormal, creepy, haunt me down , toraja villageThe Toraja universe is divided into three parts, each with its own cardinal direction and rites: 1) the underworld, in the southwest, the home of the dead; 2) earth; and 3) the upperworld, to the northeast, the home of deified ancestors. Each is presided over by its own set of gods. Those found on earth sometimes live in particular trees, mountains and other natural objects. There is a fear of werewolves, spirits that fly at night and spirits that eat the stomachs of sleeping people.

According to tradition, the Toraja believe that the dead should be properly sent off to a land called Puya somewhere in the southwest and given enough attention to send them to the upperworld, where defied ancestors live. Most people never make it beyond Puya, where the dead exist a state of being not unlike the life on earth. Those that get lost on the way to Puya and don’t make it may come back and haunt the living so great cares taken to make sure this doesn’t happen.

scary, horror, haunted, story, spooky, witch, demon, myths, tales, paranormal, creepy, haunt me down , toraja village
Death is something that is always on the mind of Toraja but it something that is viewed as journey one prepares for rather tragedy. Toraja parents make every effort to make sure their infants feet don't touch the ground, with the understanding that if the child died young it would ascend to heaven faster.

The actual “walking” part of the dead appears to happen during the ritual of Ma ‘Nene’ (The Ceremony of Cleaning Corpses). Out of respect for their dead and afterlife, the boxes containing the dead are removed from the tombs (every few years), the corpses are removed from the boxes, and are cleaned and re-dressed. Damaged boxes are fixed or replaced. In videos I have seen the dead seem to be exhibited and paraded around, as if they they were alive.

Positioned on the balconies of the cliffside graves where Toraja are buried are spooky-looking life-size wooden statues called tau taus which are fully clothed and have human hair. Effigies of the deceased who are buried behind them, they are usually carved from jackfruit wood and every effort is made to make sure the physical details resemble those of the deceased.                                                                                                                                                                                                             The custom of making tau taus is thought to have originated in the late 19th century. In the old days they were quite basic and primitive -looking and stylized. Now some are quite realistic looking. The ones made today can be quite elaborate and detailed. They are made with great skill and capture the dead as they liked when the died rather than when they were wee young. Not so many tau taus are visible. In recent years many have been stolen and found there way to the international art market. Today many Toraja keep them in their homes.

The funeral ceremonies usually take place in two parts. The Rambu Solo (the funeral ceremony) and the Rambu Tuka (the procession and burial.
The Rambu Solo is a grisly affair in which dozens, sometimes hundreds, of buffalos and pigs are slaughtered in the belief that the spirit of the dead will be accepted by God. The funeral can be held in front of the village tongkonan. Sometimes it takes place in a field, where bamboo platforms have been set up for people to sit with the deceased presiding over the event from a high-roofed tower. Some are held in special funeral sites marked by megaliths.

It was when a group of people traveled to a place, which was completely ruined, in order to take the shot of the movie which has to be shoot at a ruined place. But after some days of habitat at that place, there was no sign of even one of them. It was a crew of 13 people, but the only thing that was left there was the camera.

When other people reached that place, they saw a man on his bicycle about 10 km, before KULDHARA VILLAGE, the place where crew went and didn't came back. At first, the man refused to talk about the village, but then they bribe him, and then he narrated the complete story of the Kuldhara Village.

He narrated,

"" In an era of powerful kings and ministers, about 200 years ago, Kuldhara was home to the Paliwal Brahmins.  It was during this time that Salim Singh, the Diwan of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan was known for his debauchery and unscrupulous tax-collecting methods

One day while he was on his routine to, he set his eyes on the beautiful daughter of the village chief. The Diwan was absolutely hell bent on having the girl and he told the villagers if they came in his way he would levy huge taxes on them. Fearing the wrath of the Diwan, the residents of the entire village fled one dark night, leaving behind their homes and everything within them. This was they saved their daughters respect, but cursed the village.

Kuldhara was abandoned by its very own people. No one has an idea where they flew away, the thousands of people just get hell out off their souls from their savage of Salim Singh. For generations now, no study could have found where they all resettled, the only in known is that they cursed the Kuldhara town when they left – that no one would ever be able to settle down in Kuldhara again.  ""

That curse stays true till date because the village is uninhabited and barren land, with empty house, and the ruined temple.

He also warned "" Saheb Jii, Don't go there, you might not come back, like those people !! ""

But they went in pursuit of seeking the lost. When they just entered in the Kuldhara Village, they felt the thickness in the air, it was difficult for them to even breathe, when the saw the ruined temple, and their was something that frightened them like hell. They saw a huge shadow of something which was falling on the temple. Though they could not see from where the shadow was falling on the temple.

And that was time, when they ran out from their. They had a believe that those crew members were not going to come back ever again .

Since 13 long years !!!! Now the very important question arises, Is their any ghost in that mahal, where two lives are struggling ??
Well, there are many of stories spread all over the world that the spirit of Begum Wilayat Mahal haunts the palace. Who was Begum Wilayat Mahal ? Was she some witch who was involved in black magic ? Or was she the one who had committed suicide out off frutration ?
Its a long, long, long ago, there was an emperor named " Wajid Ali Shah " of Oudh. It was the time when India was under the Britishers, and the emperor was deposed by Britishers. After  his death, the Mahal was seized. After Britishers, the Mahal was endorsed by Indian Government. Since then, the it was an Indian Government's property till 1985.
scary, horror, haunted, story, spooky, witch, demon, myths, tales, paranormal, creepy, haunt me down, malcha mahal, begum wilayat mahalIn 1985, Begum Wilayat Mahal filled a will in court written by Wajid Ali Shah. The will was her voice saying that she and her two children were the descendants of the Mahal. She wanted her respect and their palace back. It was in 1993, that in order to have protest against Government, Begum chose the distinct way. She confined herself and her two children, with what ever they had ( some dogs and glorious jewels ) in the VIP lounge of New Delhi Railway Station. After 9 days when the doors of lounge were open by policemen, what they saw was even horrified. There was a dead body of Begum Wilayat Mahal, and the two children were sitting in grief near the remains of their mother. Begum committed suicide in depression by having the crushed diamonds.
Since then, the mahal was allotted to the only left descendants of the Malcha Mahal, they were Prince Riaz and Princess Sakina. But till then, the glory of Mahal was ruined, it was nothing else than a haunted place with no lights, no food, and no proper housing. Everything was provided by government but on one black night, some burglars intervened into the Mahal, and dogged the grave of Begum in order to have left over treasures which were buried with the corpse of Begum Wilayat Mahal.
It was then, when prince discontinued everything, and restricted everyone from coming in, with an engraved board on the main gate of Mahal, which says :

PROCLAMATION

INTRUDERS SHALL BE GUNNED DOWN

It is also said that the spirit of Begum Wilayat Mahal still haunts the area. Many people passing through the mahal had been witnessed the supernatural things happening and some have listened the mourns of ghosts.
No one is sure what is this all about, but one thing is definitely clear in our minds, that no one should travel nearby mahal. If they are ready to get hurt, or are not interested in continuing their lives, may have the courage to go there.

Love or Curse

You weren’t imagining it.Here are one of the most popular urban legends still being told:-

"Dreams are good as well as bad, some are horrified as hell and some are beautiful as heaven."India is a place of dreams, where many dreams are untold. It's a place where many stories are as spooking as a haunted bad dream. There is a tale in regard to the fort which is now called as " Bhoot Bangla " ( House of Ghosts ).

It is the familiar story of Bhanghar Fort, Rajasthan, India. It was fabricated by Madho Singh in 1613 AD. It is an abandoned area, as the inhabitants living near by fort, has consolidated their fear of "the unknown". It is said that the fear of unknown is even worse than the fear of known.

The story of Bhangarh is the tale of love and curse.

It is believed that there was a priest who was a wizard in black magic. He was grabbed with the charm of the emperor's daughter, Ratnavati. When priest saw Ratnavati buying an Ittar (Scent), he devised a plan, to make her fall for him. He changed the pure Ittar with witchcraft Ittar. After applying the impure scent, the princess would have fallen in love with the priest.

But, it is said that nothing can be achieved if it's not yours. Same happened with the awful priest. When he was  contaminating the scent, princess saw him doing all the unacceptable things. She threw the contaminated Ittar, and it was thrown on the boulders (Large Rocks) nearby.

As a result, boulder started rolling towards the priest, as they were in love with him. Priest was crushed by huge boulders. While taking his last breathe, he cursed that Bhangarh would be destroyed soon and no one will be able to live within it's precincts.

Around 10,000 people were living at the fort. Every human being including Princess were killed.

In the present state, the fort is ruined, and the people living nearby fort, have witnessed the ghosts of the princess and the priest. It is believed that the immortal priest has imprisoned the soul of princess.

He make love with the immortal princess, and the howling and screaming sounds are herd by inhabitants are the mourning of the princess.

She is caged since then, and don't know for how many more decades.
