The western part of the North Atlantic Ocean is known as Bermuda Triangle where ships, air crafts and humans are disappearing mysteriously. Bermuda Triangle is also known as Devil’s Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle appeared in the News on 16th September 1950 when the Associated Press Articles about the unusual disappearance of Ships, AirCraft, fighter etc at the Triangle.

Many scientists and Geographic society of America believe that there is a dangerous place in the Atlantic Ocean where ships, places etc are disappearing when passing through. But there is not documentary evidence at all. As per the US Navy there is no such triangle and the US Board on Geographic Names did not recognize till today.

Many ships while sailing to this area and many Planes or Air Craft while moving above the area are disappearing immediately without providing any SOS or further details. These include the disappearance of aircraft carriers and naval vehicles. A few famous disappearances include the U.S.S Cyclops in 1918. In the midst of World War I, the Cyclops was assigned to the Naval Overseas Transportation Service. The Cyclops’ destination was to set sail from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 16 February 1918 after a stopover in Barbados from the 3rd to the 4th of March 1918. However so, the Cyclops together with her 306 passengers was never again to be seen. The U.S.S Cyclops disappeared without a shred of evidence linking to the disappearance.

Similarly, the U.S Navy Avengers Flight 19 proved to be the most famous disappearance in the Bermuda Triangle mystery. Flight 19 was a routine patrol done by five veteran student pilots. The flight path was scheduled for route overlooking the Atlantic. The flight never returned. The search and rescue aircraft which was dispatched was never heard from again.

According to popular culture theories, the Bermuda Triangle has always been associated with paranormal activity or extra terrestrial beings. The impact of the triangle on popular culture has been proven to be pretty consequential. Movies, television series, songs as well as books have been published with content dedicated to the mysteries linked to the triangle.
